I very seldom write to express my feelings about anything I have purchased. However, in the case of the rings that I have bought I find I must let you know how very pleased I am with these purchases. However, as important as these purchases were to me, I must also make a point of saying something else about you and about Sachs.
As I told you, I waited rather late in life to make a purchase of fine jewelry. I did not start out buying expensive jewelry from you or Sachs. My first purchase I believe was a Citizens Eco-Drive watch. I remember you treated me with consideration and respect and great attentiveness. Each time I came back to buy another Eco-Drive watch (I bought four), I was likewise treated well and began to seek you out for assistance. Succeeding purchases were often very inexpensive but each time I was treated as it was though I was buying something regal.
Over the eight or so months I visited Sachs' new store and purchased my three diamond rings, I have had plenty of time to observe how other customers are treated. I saw two young high school girls looking at the “Hot Diamonds" display, and it was obvious that neither one of them was going to purchase anything, but the young lady who assisted them treated them as if they were old and valued customers. I saw the same treatment given to a young man who was looking for a modest engagement ring. He was likewise treated by another sales person as if he was making an expensive purchase. The salesperson shared in his excitement and seemed genuinely happy to assist him. Of course, I have seen people whose purchase was indeed substantial and marveled at the fact that all of Sach's customers that I observed were treated as valued customers.
To me, it is a true mark of humanity that all who enter your establishment and treated well without regard to potential purchases. It may be awhile before I return as I and my budget “digest” my three purchases, but when the time comes I will be back and in the meanwhile I will continue to recommend with highest regard you and Sachs to my friends and family.
